We found us!
Strong Bad seems to be having a hard time with his tech support too! And check out the newest homestarrunner.com main page. It’s the reverse side of everything that we’ve been seeing all along. Nicely done. I haven’t checked this site in so long because the Strong Bad emails have gotten so stupid, but I guess they are slowly coming back. I still remember this email being the one that got me hooked.
And since last checking the site, they’ve also put up a podcast page. Man, no one’s safe from the onslaught of internet lingo these days.
Children as young as 12 are are feeling pressured to have sex these days (at least in the UK they are, but I suspect the same in the US as well).
Rather than wait until they are emotionally prepared for sex, children as young as 12 are turning to alcohol to help to get them through losing their virginity. Most are too embarrassed, confused, drunk or illinformed to think about the risks of pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections, so contraception is barely even considered, a charity report says.
Maybe they should do more than just teach kids how to put on a condom and begin telling them where to get the things for free, since so many kids seem to think they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I knew that I had to be on the 24-hour time-lapse of the Apple Store grand opening. But for the life of me, I couldn’t find myself or Meggie in the line. I just figured that we happened to either be in a place where we were being blocked the whole time or we just happened to move at the exact speed to miss the camera’s shutter. Then, Meggie IMs me and tells me where to find the images of us, and the above is where you can see us. I went and took the liberty of adding convinient red text to highlight our positions, so just look for a reddish “Meggie” and “Me” and you should see us nearby (I’m wearing a white hoodie and she’s wearing a black track jacket).
Someone made a 360-degree panorama of the grand opening at the Apple Store. I wanna learn how to make these.
You should watch the trailer to The Lake House. It’s a new movie coming out June 16 starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reaves (Whee! Speed!). It looks like one of those typical feel-good romance movies but I think it has an interesting twist to it. I described the movie to Simon as being Frequency and some other romantic movie put together (you’ll see why I think Frequency after you watch the trailer). Anyway, it looks like it could be good. I’ll go watch it! :)
Just for fun, here’s the trailer to Art School Confidential, a movie that I think could either be really funny or really really really stupid and boring.

Holy crap! The New Super Mario Bros. game for Nintendo DS has some insanely good reviews! The official website for the game has finally launched in full too, so take a look at that. I like the new music (you can play it on the website). Man, this game alone is worth buying a Nintendo DS lite for! AHH! The games on the DS in general are just so much better than the games for the PSP. That sucks, really, but I guess that’s the way Sony wants to roll. Whatever, sucks to be them right now anyway.
I found a torrent of the BMW short-film series, The Hire. If you don’t know what it is, it’s 8 films (originally 5, but then an additional 3 later) all featuring a BMW car as the main “character”. I want to see all of them because I never got a chance to when they were available for download. If anyone bought a BMW around October 2005, you should have gotten the DVD for free, so let me have a look at it!
A couple of days ago, Flickr made the upgrade from “beta” status to “gamma” status. It’s not really important what it’s called really. What is important is the fact that the service is so much more streamlined than it was before. Actually, I’d go as far as to say it’s fun to use now. Not that it wasn’t before, but it was sort of a hassle to do certain things to your photos, and now it’s just EASY (especially with the new Organizr).
Stuffonmycat has always been a favorite place of mine to visit when I’m super bored. Lately, I’ve neglected visiting the place because I’ve had so much work to do, but I just went back and noticed their new cartoon stack t-shirt. It looks nice. Taking into account that I posted earlier about another colorful tee, I think it’s safe to say that I’m drawn towards these wildly outrageous and colorful designs.
Not that I know very much about menstruation or period cycles (other than the basics, I guess), but something about a 22-year old woman not having a period since she’s been 17 (because of birth control pills) sounds so unnatural that there’s bound to be something bad happening to her body. Plus, current trends show that this method of suppressing one’s period is becoming super popular. Ok, just read the dang article and flame me later.
And I’m no scientist or researcher, but stopping something natural from happening sounds like the worst idea ever.
Madonna is old. And totally retarded.
The Apple Hi-Fi boombox is totally retarded. I got to test it out the other day and it sounds like a piece of this. Maybe my sound standards are just incredibly high. Maybe not and the unit just sounds like crap. I just couldn’t imagine the thing filling up a room with sound, and honestly, the whole object just looks kinda ugly in real life. Gross. THUMBS DOWN!

The official Doobybrain Etnies Callicut
Hmm! You can now design your own Etnies. I own the Callicut shoe and it’s a good, comfortable shoe. Only $69.95! Haha.
Umm, I’ll just write this since I know a lot of you still use IE: I know there is a problem with the header text showing up. I am looking into the “problem”, although I’m sure it’s just me being retarded and over-looking something quite simple to fix. When I get my eyes straightened out, it should be fixed and ready to go. But hey, feel free to help me out if you know how.
