Superman Returns is out today!!!

At this point in time, I should be writing a post about how I’ll be away for the next few days at Creation Festival NE. Unfortunately, as you can read below, that is not happening anymore because the entire event has been postponed (when really, it’s been cancelled). I’m so disappointed too because I’ve literally been waiting a whole year for this concert. Ever since the last day of Creation Festival NE 2005, I’ve been set on going to CFNE 2006 and now it’s not happening because of heavy rainfall. :( This really sucks. This means I’ll have to catch Audio Adrenaline at the Nokia Theater, which won’t be as good, but it’ll suffice.

The good thing I guess is that our 2006 tickets are valid for entry in 2007. Nice!

Um, can you say insanely awesome tee? I can. I want.

wow
I think this one is really sad.

Have you checked out the new secrets for this week yet? It just occured to me that the entire Post Secret website is hosted on Blogger. Amazing.

custom bags
I was looking for more pictures of the Crumpler custom design thing I’ve been talking about on Flickr, but I came across nothing except for a few people’s personal photos of their bags and this design your own Crumpler bag poster.
I did, however, come across these two really good photo cluster groups–whatsinyourbag and whatsinmybag–both of which show the layout contents of people’s bags. I’m totally gonna join these clusters with my own photos. It looks cool. :)
As I was doing research for a bag company that did customization like Crumpler and had durability like Timbuk2, I cam across R.E.Load baggage company. They make some pretty good bags I hear, and their customization scheme isn’t too different from that of Crumplers (see their photo gallery here). It seemed like the perfect choice for me…until I saw the price tag of one of their bags UNCUSTOMIZED. Heck, I could spend such money on better things.

You would think that climbing a ladder this quickly would be of better use outside of a ladder climbing competition. Regardless, it’s fun to watch.

Jackass 2 The Movie is coming out! I remember watching the first one back when I was at Rutgers and I couldn’t stop laughing at how funny the movie was. It was a total surprise to me since I thought the movie was going to be really retarded (like the TV show). So because I enjoyed the first one so much, I may like this second one just as much! We’ll see September 22!

This is an interesting mockup of a Winamp portable music player concept. I would totally love an mp3 interface that mimicks that of Winamp. The only thing is, I can’t imagine how they would show a playlist on this, unless the playlist magically formed in mid-air. If that’s so, then awesome! But it’s probably not so, as things cannot yet materialize in mid-air.

These Element Slate Tan shoes are nice. I miss my gumsoles…

I’m a huge fan of Overheard In NY, so when Gothamist linked a Google Maps Mashup for Overplot, I was ecstatic (two of my favorite pasttimes in one sitting!). Overplot makes it easy to visually see where the stupidest people live and/or travel to in NY. Whee!

Bored? Play some Tontie! More bored? Play some Planarity!

For the opening of Superman Returns, I read up on 40 things you don’t know about Superman. Umm, wow, I had no idea Superman went through such an evolution! And the crotch area for his costume had to be modified slightly so people wouldn’t get scared?! Haha, that’s totally great! I had no idea the yellow part of the Superman logo had small yellow/golden S’s! I think that’s neat.

superman returns
Anyway, Superman Returns is going to be awesome! If you’re extra curious and excited, you can probably catch it a few hours earlier than the official release date since it comes out at 10PM on Tuesday, June 27th (TODAY!!!!!).
