Tie an Ian Knot

Keep reading to figure out why one shoe in the photo above is glowing.
I’ve gotten lots of shoes lately, and I can’t figure out for the life of me how to lace my shoes with two separate colored laces on each shoe (altogether, 4 laces on two shoes). I’ve definitely seen it done before so I know the method exists. But for me to actually put it out and make it look nice on my shoes…well, that’s a different story.
As I’ve posted before, I use Ian’s Shoelace Site to check up on different ways I can tie my shoes in order to make them look their best. I don’t think this particular knot is named after the same Ian that runs the site, but I had no idea that the way in which I already tie my shoes is called the Ian Knot. It’s seriously the fastest way to tie your shoes. And if you don’t understand the pictures or directions given there, I can definitely show you how to do it in person.

The two photos above are of the same Puma RS100 shoes. They are entirely made with 3M reflective material, hence the appearance of two different shoes in two different lighting situations. These are SOOOO awesome and comfortable.
