Push the pedal down
There will be no image for this post. But do look at the multiple posts I’ve already published today.
Welcome Simon back home to the United States of America!
I find this story of a blue-painted REVS metal sculpture that was ruined by a police cruiser very fascinating.
I love In-n-Out. I really wish they would expand and open one over here on the East coast, but until then, I’ll just enjoy these photos of people chowing down the In-n-Out 8×8’s. Wow, that looks so good. MMMMmmm!! Anybody up for a trip to California?
I may not need NYC Subway map hacks like onNYturf or the NYC subway VGmap overlay anymore because the MTA is scheduled to revamp their webpage soon, and with the revamp will be a new interactive subway map made by Trapeze Software Group. Read some more about it on the Post.
Remember when NYC subway fares were $1.50 a couple of years ago and 7-day unlimited metro cards were $17? No? Maybe the LTVsquad’s venture into the WTC-Cortlandt St station will bring back some good memories.
This ParAvion billfold wallet is pretty neat. It’s supposedly made pretty well, but the photos don’t quite convince me. I’d buy it, but throwing around $20 to test a product like this is out of my financial range at the moment (especially since I just bought a Nintendo DS Lite–readers of yesterday’s Urbana post will kill me).

Relient K is playing on the Nintendo Fusion tour that’s criss-crossing the US at the moment. The Nintendo Fusion tour will be in NYC on October 8, 2006 at the Roseland Ballroom. If I remember correctly, Relient K was around here around the same time last year as well for a concert at the Manhattan Center. Maybe I’ll go see them again since I totally missed out on all that was supposed to be Creation Festival this year. :|
Microsoft Live Labs is developing this very interesting project called Photosynth that basically maps out images (yours and others) into a 3D diorama of sorts. The demo shown in the video is very promising and shows plenty of potential for the use of such a program if it ever sees the light of day.
Those are the links for today. Some videos later on this week. :) Take care! Cheers!
