And baby don’t follow their lead

There was a CCCCRRRAAAAZZZZYYY car crash on 28th St and 6th Ave last night. The corner shop that just had their windows replaced will have to replace the entire thing again. I feel bad for them. Man. Both cars were more or less totalled I think. An SUV hit a taxi and I think the taxi spun onto the right side of 28th St and the SUV hit the left side where the corner shop is. Firefighters used the jaws of life! I’ve never seen them use it before in person, but now I have! SCARY!

AHHHH! YESSSSSS!!! The Office season 3 promo is out and viewable on the NBC site. It goes over the story of Pam and Jim! WHEEEE! These two folks are lovely. :) [via]
By the way, The Office webisode 6 is out. YAY!

Yay to the letter H on hats! These look pretty good.

No big hoopla here, but Deviantart, an art community I used to be familiar with, has gone version 5. Looks cleaner, but still just as green. I don’t know, that place isn’t all too great anymore, unfortunately. But being one of the site’s very first registered members, I can definitely say that the site has come a long way since it was first introduced. Good for them, I say. :)

Newsflash: 30% of Americans are retarded. Actually, MSM can’t write a headline that intense, so they dumbed it down for us. Let’s just say that 30% of Americans are retarded because they don’t know or can’t remember what year 9/11 took place. Gosh.

I’ve never been to the top of the Statue of Liberty’s crown, and now I can more or less kiss the chance to go up there goodbye. They are prohibiting access to the crown until further notice because of safety issues in an emergency.

For those of you searching for apartments, myapartmentmap might be a useful tool to check out. It’s simply a mix of Google Maps and Craigslist apartment listings for major cities in the US. If you’re city is big enough or important enough, it’ll be there. And if you’re not searching for an apartment, it’s kinda fun to play around for a few minutes.

Yay for this cat who can flush the toilet forever and ever and ever and ever…

From the upcoming movie, Confetti, comes this game of Nudist Trampoling. It is no doubt based on 1 out of the three couples in the movie that are competing for “Most Original Wedding of the Year”, the basic premise of the movie. I’ve posted about it before because I thought it looked like a promising title. Plus, Fox Searchlight has been on a roll lately with their releases. Go play Nudist Trampolining for a bit. Thanks CaptJack.

This is why I love Bill and Melinda Gates: They have recently contributed $500 million to The Global Fund to help fight/cure HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. The Gates’ recent contributions (a previous $150 million to The Global Fund and $287 million into research for an AIDS vaccine) are really going to change lives. If only everybody were as generous as them.

Heh, here’s a funny article about how MTV has changed the world in the past 25 years (it’s MTV’s 25th anniversary this year, if you didn’t already know). It sure as hell gave me some ADD. And music videos. What are those these days? Nothing like Pimp My Ride and Next to curb my boredom. Sheesh.
You can watch MTV’s ADD Videos to see the 25 greatest videos from the past 25 years.

A list of Wi-Fi spots in New York City. By no means is this complete though. But it’s a good start for many major locations.

See what I’m listening to @ Last.fm.

Lot’s of YAY-ing today in this post. Life is grand! :D
