I need to keep track of some of the stuff I see from day to day. Below is an account of some of that stuff.

I saw these Adidas Top Ten Oddity shoes while window shopping down in SoHo today. They are amazing and can (so far) only be found here for $79.99. I may want these shoes more than the DC Striker Tennis shoes I wrote about a couple of posts down.
For some reason, somone over at Puma really screwed up on the photo for the RS-100 in blue/black/chinese-red. They either flashed the item the wrong way or something because you can clearly see the reflective parts up in flames and the rest of the shoe in darkness. And the funny thing is, they tried to correct it instead of taking a correct photo.
Anyway, these Puma RS-100 True Crime sneakers are definitely NYC. Not really liking those colors though.

For $44.95, these Etnies Bernie sneakers aren’t too bad if you want something other than Converses. Zappos has the Bernies in hemp (green). Shoes.com has them in 4 colors @ $39.99 + free shipping.
Wow, look at these Etnies Plus Rocksteady:Hi. Don’t they instantly remind you of the Back To The Future Nike’s that Marty wore? Don’t forget, there’s a petition out for Nike to actually make those Back To The Future Nikes. Nike should just go ahead and make the darn things.
Three things I would buy if I had a lot of money to spend at Sephora (yeah, don’t ask):
- CK One Summer – $40
- Clinique Happy for Men – $45
- Sweet Coconut Milk – $16
Heh, Vincent Cianni is one of my teachers at Parsons/New School. He is also the author of the acclaimed photo book, We Skate Hardcore.

What is it about Mario that makes him so popular? The Washington Post writes about it. But I really think it’s because Mario looks better than any other video game mascot. And he talks cool. Oh yeah, and his games are way better.
Two things from Lifehacker:
- If you need to go to the bathroom, scratch the back of your leg and it might make you forget that you need to go.
- This inline mp3 greasemonkey script allows you to play mp3 files from inside your browser without having to download it first.
But remember that for the last script to work, you need the Greasemonkey extension for Firefox.
Ever since I heard my first Cary Brothers track off of the Garden State album, I’ve really been into his style of music. It’s soft and relaxing and perfect for when you just want to kick back and do nothing for a bit. For that reason, I really dig the Cary Brothers website because you can listen to a lot of the tracks off of both EPs. A pretty good deal if you ask me! Plus, with the greasemonkey mp3 script mentioned above, you can listen to even more music without really having to download anything! SPECTACULAR!!
Ok, I’ll admit something, and you can all call me stupid for thinking this, but I thought the “Cary Brothers” were an actual set of brothers making music. Who knew that it was just one person! Man, was I wrong or what!
This girl took a photo of herself everyday for 3 years. And this is the video. I’d say her hair, eyebrows, and glasses change the most. Fascinating, no?
Readers over at BB made an interesting observation, asking why airport and security officials were dumping “potentially hazardous and explosive” liquids into garbage disposals in the middle of crowds at airports. Isn’t anyone thinking that if these liquids were harmful or explosive, that they would better explode and make a huge mess if consolidated into a trash bin? Hmm.
All of this nonsense after US and UK security officials banned liguids, gels, creams, and just about all other water-based items from airplane carry-on.
For every post, I throw in a random link. Today’s link will be for Dunkin Donuts. Is there any place that serves a better cup of coffee (hot/cold)? MMmmm :)
My summer ran on double D’s. Yum! And I don’t mean these.
Today’s post title brought to you by Muse!
