Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Hello everybody! I am mildly sunburned after staying a full day at the beach yesterday. My shoulders and my face ache a bit, especially if I scrunch the skin in those areas together. More on the beach in a later entry. For now…

The Kid Robot store in SoHo is handing out free donuts, juice, and donut keychains @ 10AM on August 31! Head down there early to snag one of the limited edition products because there are only going to be 300 to pass out.
This ONE MILLION block is just silly.
Yay for grossness! Check out what you might be getting in your next cup at Starbucks! Maybe a roach, maybe a mouse, maybe a disease! Yay! [via]
I thought it was neat enough that Gmail plays voicemessages (from Google Talk users) inside the browser window, but when I learned that Gmail also plays mp3 files in the same way, I immediately sent myself an mp3 to try. It works, and it’s smart.
You can also use the player to play other mp3s around the web.
Just add the url of the mp3 file to the end of “http://mail.google.com/mail/html/audio.swf?audioUrl=” and you’re good to go.
Go ahead, make your own concert ticket. Not valid at any venue. Good luck.
The ATL Waterpark Tour 2 - rollerblading inside an abandoned waterpark in Atlanta. This looks SO fun. And I really like that tune that plays in the video. Anybody know what it is? The tune is called Brand New Key by Rasputina. [via]
David Hasselhoff is in my extended network on Myspace. Read his “About me” section below:
I love this bit! I’m listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as “The Most Watched TV Star in the World,” thanks to my starring roles in both “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch.” Born in Baltimore, MD, I initially hoped for a music career, but my first professional job came on the CBS soap opera, “Young and the Restless,” playing Dr. Snapper Foster. After six years I was lured to NBC by Brandon Tartikoff to take the starring and challenging role of Micheal Knight in “Knight Rider,” the story of a man who does not exsist and his gay car, leading me to a People’s Choice Award for Most Popular Actor. The show is still playing in over 82 countries! In 1989 I headed the cast of “Baywatch,” which, after being canceled by NBC, was acquired by me and my partners (business partners). They became the executive producers, and TV history was made. Today, “Baywatch” is viewed in 140 countries by over one billion viewers each week.
My remarkable musical career took off in the late 1980s when I recorded the album, Looking for Freedom, which brought the end of the Cold War.
I sang “Looking for Freedom” from on top of the Berlin Wall during the German reunification celebration. I’m a very powerfull man over there….I could have you killed….Just kidding ladies I’m a lover not a fighter.
Anyone could have written this and it wouldn’t have been funny, but because it’s written by the Hoff, it’s funny.

Along with M&M’s, Heinz is now offering up a pretty cool little novelty gift idea: customized Heinz ketchup labels! You can even choose the type of container/bottle that will hold your fabulous gift of ketchup. I personally like the 14oz. glass bottle.
I’d like to hold a Poketo wallet in my hand to see how it feels. These wallets are definitely catered to my liking, but I just can’t get myself to buy it without know for sure how they feel and whether or not they’ll live up to my crazy lifestyle. Hyuk hyuk. Then again, they are vinyl, and vinyl is good enough for me. As long as it’s not fabric. Prices range from $20 and below.
THIS. IS. A. RETARDED. IDEA. FROM. SONY.
Zach Braff dresses Rachel Bilson in this short clip. I think this is funny. These short little clips are a good way to advertise for the movie, The Last Kiss. I don’t think they are intentionally used for that purpose, but they might be.
