I have completed a small section of my wall in outrageous color doodles. Thanks Melanie for helping me carry out the task and for not caring about what you need to write/draw before you write/draw it. My goal is to finish this entire wall before I move.
Here are two photos that are great: rain inspires crazy things & standing alone in the rain
I still consider myself a big iPod fan. It was my first real mp3 music player and I really like a lot about it (not everything though). So I guess my excitement about new iPods coming on September 12 are reasonable.
Does anybody remember that when the iPod debuted on October 23, 2001 (my birth date) people really thought it was going to bomb because the US was just recovering from the 9/11 terrorist attacks? I don’t know what I mentioned this. But there we go, I did.
Go and play with Yahoo! maps and Google maps all at the same time. One significant difference between the two maps is that Yahoo! maps doesn’t have hi-res satellite photos of major cities. Their graphical maps however are essentially the same.
This is so great. Strongbad and The Cheat go on a roadtrip with everything I’ve already thought of for my future roadtrip (mix CDs and food). That’s about it, folks.
Tetris is challenging enough! Who the heck needs 3D tetris?!
I will be making more frequent trips to and from Boston in the near future, and news about the Fung Wah busses flipping over, crashing, and catching fire are just more reason for me to drive my own vehicle to Boston.
And what the heck does the definition for Fung Wah in Urban Dictionary mean?!
Random: Check out what I’m listening to on Last.fm.
Umm, after what seems like an entire lifetime, Le Tigre has finally bought a new domain name –letigreusa.com– and stopped using holdthattiger.com. They also made their site much more user-friendly so that you can actually shop there. Thank goodness for the change.
I am about to disable my Facebook account after this morning’s stunt.

This is pretty neat. Bonbon Trading makes some cool sofas that convert into full bunk beds in about 2 seconds. The pictures do more justice for the units themselves though, so do check out the rest of the full line of sofa conversion products.
This is my generation — a generation sold on the idea of casual sex. -_-
Hah, that article photo really sucks by the way. :P
Umm, I am so guilty of dining theft by many counts. I have taken green hot sauce from Chipotle, ketchup from various locations, and little tiny table objects here and there. It’s true, if it’s not nailed down, it’s something for me to take!
From here:
The impulse to take things is powerful, and complicated. Suzanne Goin, the chef at Lucques in Los Angeles, says customers think that because they’re spending money it is acceptable for them to take what they want. They may want a souvenir of the evening, like the woman at Ten Penh, or a thrill, or even a measure of revenge, if they were unhappy with the experience.
If the rising cost of menu prices really is the result of restaurant theft, then I have no idea what to say in response. But honestly, it sounds like a lot of BS. It sounds more like the reason, at least for New Yorkers, is just the fact that they are eating in one of the most expensive cities in the world.
I know for one that theft on airplanes is high. I used to take everything that wasn’t attached to something else on a plane — blankets, silver spoons, knives & forks, playing cards, magazines, etc.
First day of classes wasn’t so bad. It was quite easy in fact. Both of my classes were easy going and the teachers were kind. This can only mean one thing: that tomorrow’s class will be an utter disaster and that the teacher for tomorrow will be real nasty and horrible. Here’s to hoping I’m wrong! Cheers to a new school year!
That sofa-bunk bed thing looks really cool. I want one.
I stole an apple and banana from the dining hall today.
i think someone saw simon’s idea of his cardboard chair thing and thought that since they had the money they’ll just steal the idea and make it with cushions
