I stopped by the Triple 5 Soul flagship store on 290 Lafayette Street today and just browsed their Fall 2006 lineup. For a while, I thought T5S lost their mojo when it came to creating stylish urban-street-military clothing because their past seasons have been a bit off. Well, I can officially throw that thought out the window now because I really like their Fall 2006 line. They’re back to their basics again (ok, so it’s not that basic when you’re talking about T5S stuff) and I’m glad they are.
Anyway, I tried the Wool Bomber jacket they have on sale and it’s so wonderful!!!!! I really want to buy it for winter, but at $262, it’s a bit steep at the moment (especially since it’s not a snowboarding jacket which I totally want more).
The only thing I’m not keen on is their pricing. What happened to modest price points?! I might as well be shopping at Diesel or Lucky Brand.
Supreme Skateboard shop was on Lafayette as well, but when I tried to go in, I found myself looking like a fool because the shop had closed for the day, and here I was, trying to pry the door open with all my strength (and if you know me, that’s a whole lot of strength!!!!).
And you best head on over to the Kid Robot Pirate Store on Lafayette before September 24 to see all of the cool little statues that were commissioned for their Paint Ball expo. It’s really neat stuff to see. The Kid Robot Pirate store is there temporarily while the regular Kid Robot store on 126 Prince Street prepares to re-launch on September 28 @ 7-9PM. I didn’t bring a camera, but I will the next time I go. I want to go once more before it closes forever.
Umm, I was playing Big Brain Academy today (it’s like Brain Age) and I took the “test” that is part of the game, and guess what they labeled me as, simply because I could pick out colors and patterns and shapes better than I do computing! I was a Fashion Stylist! Hahaha, so dumb!
Meggie and I also saw this crazy blinged out old Cadillac with Gucci fabric pattern all over the outside and inside. There was definitely a high roller in the neighborhood for sure and he/she had parked their car on the street! Some balls! Unfortunately, I had no camera on me (STUPID!) so I don’t have photo proof of what I saw.
And just for fun, here is a photo of the greatest set of eyes ever (below).

She looks like a more angular Kelly Clarkson.
RE: yun
