Hello Tuesday buds!

How the hell do you take a photo like this? I’m so jealous.

David Blaine street magic parody. When he stares into the camera, those are the funniest moments ever. This video does its job well because I’ve always thought, Man, why does David Blaine always find things in the weirdest places? Haha, there you go, watch it.

I wonder if the world’s largest birthday cake was any good. That thing had 40,000 pounds of frosting!

MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) really did well on these drunk driving ads. I think it’s a pretty smart way to use the paper itself. Thanks Marc.

These Lego ice cube trays would make some humongous ice cubes. Who has a cup that big?

I’m hearing some fantastic things about the new Logitech MX Revolution mouse. It’s got a completely different type of scroll wheel that’s free-rolling (which basically means that you roll it and it keeps going until you stop it). I want to go to the store and put my hand on one to try it out and see how it feels. For now, however, $100 is a steep price to pay for just a mouse.

OH MY GOSH! There’s such thing as an egg cuber! Or to the hard-skulled, a device that turns your oval hard-boiled eggs into cube-like shapes! Added bonus: they are still edible afterwards! If you don’t believe it, watch the video at the end. It’s so cool! I really want a hard-boiled egg now. But even more than that, I want an egg cuber.

Why doesn’t our showroom have the PUMA UM (urban mobility) bike? I think if the PUMA showroom had it, I would not do any work and just ride it around all day long. I like the fact that the chain is part of the bike as well, so if someone tries to steal your bike by cutting the chain, they basically render the bike useless. Pretty neat idea.

HA HA! Oh no!

If you’re like me and you can’t wait until the Borat movie comes out, then feast your eyes and mind on this hilarious Borat interview from EW!

What is the meaning behind the song August 30th by Delirious? Answer: here.

The smart folks over at Popular Science magazine have put up a video on their blog showcasing that new Dyson hand dryer that shoots a blast of air at 400MPH to dry your hands. Incredible, but even more incredible to watch it in action. I don’t understand how a sheet of thin newspaper survived 400MPH winds though. That’s just baffling to me.
Hmm, Popular Science uses typepad as their blogging platform?

Most of you probably know the building that sits at the corner of Spring and Elizabeth streets. The address of the place is 11 Spring (here’s a Flickr photo). Even if you don’t recognize the address off the top of your head, you may know the building by its appearance as it’s come to be known as the building with all the graffiti and urban artwork plastered on it. It’s also known as the “candle building” because of the odd lit candles that sit in the windows. Anyway, it turns out that that building is a real-life “gadget-contraption house”. It’s owner, John Simpson, outfitted the inside of the place with all types of weird Da-Vinci-like inventions. The building however went through several different owners through the years and was recently sold to Elias Cummings Development to be converted into a condominium complex. Get your cameras out quick, because construction is set to begin in about a month, which means that the famed graffiti structure will not stand for very much longer.
Thanks for the tip, G!

I’m tired. But in a good and satisfied way. :)
