Don’t you know who I am?!

On Thursday night, I saw Marco Tempest (the YouTube cell phone magician) on the street in Chinatown. Pretty neat experience in passing. :)

Haha, below is a pretty funny video Simon sent over of a dude who wants Marco Tempest to make his man boobs smaller. If you know anything about Marco Tempest, lots of his tricks involve making things smaller very suddenly. The video below is just hilarious.

Call me old fashioned, but I like it when Yahoo! Mail greets me with a “Good evening, Herman!” or a “Good morning, Herman!”. To some extent, it makes my user experience on the computer a bit more personal, even though I know I’m still responding and interacting with a computer system. Is it weird that I want the computer to be a person? Ok, I just sound weird now. I wonder if it’d be hard for Gmail to integrate this computer personification system. Hahaha, wow, imagine that!

Boston is a wonderful song by Augustana. Listen to it. And if this embedded video gets taken down, here is the official Sony BMG video courtesy of Google Video.

Check out the Trip Clip, a device that hooks onto the bottom of your pant legs to prevent them from going beneath your shoe as you walk around. I sometimes have that problem, especially when my pants get a bit wet at the bottom during a rain storm. But now, well well, my problem is solved! The only problem I have now is that the clip looks kinda stupid because it’s so big and visible. [via]

I’ve known my fair share of folks with eating disorders during my lifetime and I can say that it’s definitely not a pretty sight as you can see in the photo essay, Thin, by Lauren Greenfield. If you have a very weak stomache, you might not want to open that link.

Grey’s Anatomy star, T.R. Knight, who plays George the surgeon, is gay. Honestly, I kinda expected it and had the feeling he was, although I have no idea why I thought that.

This is a pretty sick Nintendo DS Lite case. I want one for mine.

For those who are in the market for a pretty decent dSLR, Canon’s Rebel XTi is being sold for a very cheap $639 with applicable coupons and Dell deals. For the serious amateur photographer, this is pretty much a steal. :) Jump on it if you want.
Side comment: This camera is still very new, it wasn’t released too long ago, and already the price for it is plummeting like no other. This is good news because it probably means that the wait for a cheap and very good dSLR isn’t going to be much longer. But what I’m really waiting for is Canon’s successor to the 5D. There’s nothing better than full-frame shooting. :)

The next book in the PostSecret series, My Secret: A PostSecret Book, is set to be released on October 24. You can pre-order it now individually through Amazon.com for the very low price of $11.97, or you can pre-order this book and the next PostSecret book to follow together for an even cheaper price of $25 (you’ll see the double deal on the Amazon.com page for the book)! What a steal for real!

This is pretty funny, and it tells a pretty good story. Here’s the QT version.

For those who care, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (the real thing) has been released to the public.

I like it better when Jenna Fischer is playing Pam Beesly on The Office, but still I guess she looks pretty good in real life.

This is such a happy little photo, don’t you think?

Hehehehehehehe, yep, it’s those darn cats again! I can’t get enough. It makes me laugh each time!
