Updating and not doing my work

I’m still soaking in the birthday festivities and activities even though my birthday is done and over with. So until I get myself back together, here’s just a small update to curb those readers who would otherwise break out into hives.

Oh my gosh, this is the funniest prank on a telemarketer I’ve ever heard.

It’s only a couple of more weeks until the Nintendo Wii goes on sale in the US (November 19) but already the hype is getting to me! Check out the video below of the system and the gameplay.

Ahh, I am soooo wanting this in the new apartment. These games just look fun! And for those of you who doubt the graphic capabilities of the Wii, check these new Madden screens out. Look pretty good to me!

If you’ve been wondering why you’ve been seeing Mitch Albom’s new book, For One More Day, on sale at your local Starbucks, read up on this New York Times article explaining how Starbucks’ sale of certain entertainment goods is propelling those artists and creative folk way beyond the typical coffee table. Pretty interesting to see that Starbucks is more than just a coffee company–they are sort of a niche entertainment distributor as well these days.
