Heaven’s in New York
If you’re blind, you might not have noticed the site re-design. But since I assume most of my readers have vision capabilities, I also assume that you saw the site re-design last night along with the nifty AJAX comment thingamajig. I am lazy and I am not a very good programmer or web coder, so I usually don’t do my own designs. I usually just use freely distruibuted templates to make it seem like I know what I’m doing here on Doobybrain.com. I can gladly say that so far, this scheme has worked well! :P
This next photo is for my family, who are the only ones who will appreciate the fact that our Miami house still exists.

My old house in Miami got a pool! I want to move back there now and join the cute little black family that moved in! Anyway, from the looks of the surrounding area, it looks like the area is doing well. Lots of development going on. [Image courtesy Google Earth]
If you care at all, that Flickr photo page has notes on it with some interesting tidbits about growing up in Miami. :)
Give your mind a tease and see if you can figure out which logo is right. I did pretty well but I didn’t get a perfect score.

I can’t believe the contractors threw away this lovely mannequin from our new apartment! I wanted to put it in my room!! :(
Speaking of the new apartment, it looks like we should move in by next Monday at earliest. That’s pretty good news I guess, but I’m not so excited about moving in anymore becuase my room isn’t as big as I anticipated.
Here’s a small Doobybrain.com flashback…
- I spent the night looking at this massive collage of webcam photos again. Everytime I see those photos, I just smile and get all giddy. It’s a good way for me to reminisce about days past. I hope in a few years, I can do this same thing with photos that I’m taking today. :)
- My summer 2006 post. Pure bliss, in my opinion.
- Remember this? Dance Herman Punch Kick Slap.
- Repeat. Repeat.

Alright. I hope the new and quick update was a good refresher for the site. If not, just send me an email and let me know what you think. I really care. Haha, ok, I don’t really. But it’d be nice to read email from readers. :)
Anyway, now that comments are flowing…maybe it’s time to implement THREADED comments. OOOOOoooohHHhhh!!
