[...] I had to read a passage from Song of Songs chapter 2 that really made me laugh. It was unlike any other wedding passage I’ve ever heard (although Norman tells me that the exact same passage was read just a week ago at Dan’s wedding) — I really don’t remember that. Anyway there were funny words in there like gazelle, stag, arise, pruning, quench…basically, words I never say. Ever. I was so scared I’d laugh and totally screw up the wedding ceremony. Thank goodness I was able to think about really sad and depressing things like disease, famine, and wars to curb my laughter. Does that make me a bad person? :O [...]
