Life is spinning wonderfully
Just got back from PA. Update soon. For now, tired. Life is spinning; spinning wonderfully.
Holy moly, real-life juggernauts. They are called hard-body trainers. It’s an awesome video, watch it!
Heh, cool! You need the sound on though for this one or else you’ll just completely miss the point.
I’ve been following the missing persons story of CNET senior editor James Kim and his wife and two kids. It’s so weird to know that they are missing and in some odd way, I feel like the internet has lost one of its more noble characters. I’ve always enjoyed Kim’s video reviews of electronics on CNET and as the days go on without any word on their whereabouts, the outlook is starting to look very grim on their situation. I hope some good news comes about soon.
I don’t know how long this 16×10 foot two-room 8-person family tent with canopy is going to be selling for $38, but in case it doesn’t last long, you better jump on this deal now. For serious! NOW!
NBC is picking up all of the good British TV shows! After turning The Office into a highly successful TV show for American television, NBC is now set to attempt to do the same for the incredibly funny British comedy, IT Crowd. Check out Channel 4’s IT Crowd website. If you haven’t seen the show, come over and I’ll give you the episodes. I have them.
Wonderful squirrel cam with incredibly annoying music.
I was just talking to Joyce the other day about how it’d be fun to actually get close enough to a squirrel. And now my dreams have all come true, thanks to this video. Yay.
Here’s a true Brooklyn rep. You won’t see anybody tattooing “212″ to their shoulders in Manhattan. No way.
Just a nice photo to stare at.
Simon, Norman, and I make up what some refer to as “The Yung Brothers” club. Sure, it’s exclusive. And unfortunately, we are not currently accepting any new members. In the meantime, you can read about another clan called “The Young Brothers” who were part of a massacre in Springfield, MO. Fascinating story (but incredibly long-winded). Don’t worry, we aren’t on the path to this same demise.
Hey hey! Check out the Nike Golf website which features slow-motion videos of random objects being completely obliterated by Nike’s Juice golf balls.
I’m usually pretty quick on logo changes, but the recent Old Navy logo “revision” completely passed me by. I must be blind because now that I know it all seems so obvious. The Old Navy website sports the new logo, of course.
Yesterday I bought a deck of Bee cards made by The United States Playing Card Company. The US Playing Card Company is also the maker of Bicycle playing cards, the world’s most popular brand of playing cards. I already previously owned a deck of Bicycle cards so the Bee deck was purely an impulse buy. What a dumb impulse buy that was. The Bee deck, although supposedly more “premium” and official, had a very cheap feel to them and they didn’t nearly glide/slide as smoothly as I had expected. I know not all the Bee card decks are the same, so in case you’re wondering which deck I got, I bought the No. 92 Club Special Standard-sized Diamond Back Special with Back #67 (believe me, it makes sense when you see the deck descriptions).
I’m really disappointed that I didn’t do more research before buying a deck of cards, because if I had, I could have bought something much cooler like the Bicycle Ghost deck (you must see the images on the site), or the Vintage Bicycle decks, or even the black and white Bicycle decks (these look awesome!). I should have bought the Bicycle clear plastic playing cards instead since they were available as well. Dang it!
…Ok, time to bring this back up to the top of the page…
