I should just get a title generator

If you see this girl today, say, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ESTHER!” and she’ll know I sent ya. ;)
I’ve been eating a lot and drinking a lot of liquids lately. So much so that I tend to get full not from eating meals, but from eating small snacks here and there. For example, last night, I didn’t eat dinner. Instead, I ate Goldfish and drank milk until I was full. Yeah, I know, that’s kinda nasty. But it worked and I didn’t have to cook nor did I go hungry. Hmm, but honestly, I think the way I’ve been eating lately isn’t doing any good for my body. Also, I keep going out to eat with folks…and that’s not very good either (for my body or for my wallet).
I just finished watching Cars for the first time and I’m really starting to think that it’s my favorite Pixar cartoon after Toy Story 1. Now I know that a lot of you will disagree with me here, but I don’t really care. While I think every single Pixar flick so far was excellent, I never liked any nearly as much as I liked the original Toy Story movie — except now for Cars. So here’s a low-down of what I think of the current 7 movie releases out now from Pixar (they are in the order that I would rank them, the first being the best).
- Toy Story 1 - Awesome. Just awesome. What a brilliant story. And knowing that the movie is over 10 years old now and still holding up is just proof that this cartoon is as awesome as I make it out to be.
- Cars - So it’s the most recent, which means it should look the best visually and it sure does (Pixar’s RenderMan engine is super). The story was touching as well, and it genuinely made me want to take a road trip to the West.
- The Incredibles - While every other CG studio might be trying to render realistic human begins, Pixar went ahead and created cartoon-ish characters rendered in CG to complement the wonderful directing from Brad Bird (who directed my all-time favorite cartoon ever: The Iron Giant). I like superheroes. And I like cartoons. And I like cartoons about superheroes directed by Brad Bird.
- Finding Nemo - Nothing like a story about lost fish in the sea and all the animals that I never get to see!
- Toy Story 2 - Although not a total bomb, I honestly think they should have stuck with just one Toy Story movie. But since they put out this sequel, maybe the 3rd installment will make up for this lackluster film.
- Monsters, Inc. - Great idea, but a bit too “girly”. Don’t ask me what I mean because I don’t know. It’s a feeling I have [deep down inside me -- ha ha ha ha ha!]
- A Bug’s Life - I always feel like this film was the black sheep of the Pixar films. Nobody ever lists or remembers this film when they talk about Pixar’s movies (and if they do, it’s always like, “Oh, and A Bug’s Life” as if they forgot). Anyway, I just think the idea is kinda silly that the film was supposed to teach one of Aesop’s fables (I sure didn’t get that). But then again, I think this is the one film of Pixar’s that was geared almost solely towards children instead of both children and adults. Maybe it was too kiddy for me? Who knows.
Well, that’s just fantastic. Another pastor (Christopher Beard) at New Life Church has stepped down after admitting to previous innapporpriate behavior before his marriage. New Life Church is the same church that Ted Haggard stepped down from back in November of this year.
Check out these rockin’ cats. Of course, I can’t post a link about cats without posting these cats!
Thanks Norman & Steph for the link!
OMG OMG OMG!! You Don’t Know Jack is back online and still just as fun! Go play now! If only now someone would bring back Acrophobia (the game), my life would be complete.
Line Rider got a small update. A lot more options to play with now.

Wow, check out this Blow Table Lamp by Studio Italia Design. I found it while browsing iliketotallyloveit, a site that ranks “stuff”. Mmmm.
Ok, I’m off to take my last final now. Well, present my last final is more like it. And then I have an interview! Wish me luck!
