Sunday’s are green and yellow too

Hello! Lately it seems as if I’m trying harder than ever to hold on to the last dying strands of some of the friendships I see fading away. I know this for a fact because I’ve been writing more emails, sending more letters, and taking more time out to even just say a simple “hello” to some. Unfortunately, the feeling isn’t always reciprocated back to me (nor is the enthusiasm), but it doesn’t deter me. I want to know that I did everything I could before something blew past me. Anyway, I like life. :)

Well, look at that! Merriam-Webster got a facelift! But I much prefer Dictionary.com’s look now.

Once again Timbuk2 redesigns their custom bag building portion of their website. Hey, at least they’re showing the true look of the colors on the bag now. Actually, overall it just looks and works much better than before.

Oh my gosh, I started REALLY using Google Reader just this past week and so far, it’s better than I could have ever imagined! The sharing feature is seriously the best thing I’ve never used! Everytime I read a post from any RSS feed in Google Reader, I can “share” it and it’ll automatically go onto this pre-formatted page. Goodness, why is Google making life online so easy?!

Oh yeah, and when I was beginning to think that I couldn’t go back to the previously posted secrets on Post Secret, I find out that if I subscribe to the site’s RSS feed, I can go back to ALL of the archived secrets that have been posted online. Yep, that’s another good treat for using Google Reader. Oh yeah, new secrets this week, as always. Just reminding everybody even though nobody really needs it anymore.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha… I think every year I post this same link, and every year I forget that I posted it the year before. So here’s to this year! :D

Maybe I’m just not up on the whole eBay thing, but I had no idea that users now had their own personal “pages” to keep track of things. It looks a lot better than the old “list page”, that’s for sure.
Related note: Yes, I sold the SIGMA 12-24mm lens already. Too bad!

OMG DIS IS 2 AWESOME 4 W0RDZ! Spore, the totally awesome game of evolution, smarts, and tactics [by Maxis/EA Games] is saying that the Spore game will also be released for Nintendo DS! Check out some screenshots of the game here, and then maybe read up on it on Wikipedia if you’d like.

I’m bored. I just went through AskMen.com’s list of the top 99 women (2007 edition). The #1 winner was such a let-down. Geez.

Gelli Baff. What the hell is it? It’s a substance you can put into your bathtub water to turn your ordinary bathwater into some fantastic goo!

The goo is a completely harmless powder that soaks up 400 times it’s own weight in water. When the fun’s all done, add the dissolver sachet and the goo disappears.

Now, c’mon, how fun does that sound? Too bad I don’t have a tub at the new apartment. Booo :(

godzilla-wii.jpg
I’m kinda looking forward to seeing the Godzilla game come to the Wii. The screen grabs look pretty good alone, but I’m interested more in the gameplay and “characters” or missions.

Godzilla: Unleashed, developed by Pipeworks Software, is the third installment in the melee series, which began its life on GameCube with the 2002 Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters. One more, players take on the role of the radioactive monster and are “unleashed” on a series of destructible post-apocalyptic city environments.

According to Atari, “Players will claw, kick, stomp, throw and blast their way through the streets of major world cities in order to claim the ultimate, beastly title: King of the Monsters.”

And there you have it! IGN certainly thinks it could be a promising game. Neat!

belkin-waverest-mousepad.jpg
I use one of these Belkin Waverest mousepads at work and man, I’ve never felt so comfortable sitting at a computer! I’m totally gonna get one for myself and you should too!

Well well, what to do now if opening locked car doors is as easy as buying a tennis ball and making a hole into it? So much for security. Although, I have some doubt as to whether or not this would work on newer cars. The car in the video is OLD.

As I write (or rather, compile) this entry, I am listening to “.977 the Hitz Channel” through WinAMP’s Shoutcast streaming technology. It’s been quite a long time since I’ve streamed anything through this mainly because up until about a month ago, I [almost] solely used iTunes for all my music. But since iTunes can’t seem to keep my library intact I gladly moved back to WinAMP and I couldn’t be happier. Plus, their streaming seems to work so much faster (less buffer time). Maybe I’m biased. But maybe I’m not!

This dude proposed to his girlfriend through a desktop widget! That’s ballsy! But what a wonderful girlfriend she is for actually loving the idea! :)

Haha, this index card is so true for boys and girls.

Have you ever wondered why The Office employees seem so hyped up about some things in their office or why their office is “decorated” in a certain way? Well, say hello to modern product placement in TV! Hey! I didn’t know Dunder-Mifflin had an “official” website!

how-to-cheat-at-everything.jpg
Oh man, How To Cheat At Everything by Simon Lovell sounds like my kind of book! I found out about it at BoingBoing. I returned Catch 22. I couldn’t read that at the moment with school and all. Too much dedication involved it seemed. But maybe I’ll be able to handle this book? Who knows.

Maybe my vulgar bank of words isn’t quite up to date or I just suck at naming profane words. Play this game. See how high (or, like me, how low) you can go. The high score is a whopping 298 at the time of this post. Who knows all those bad words?!

This is a wonderful photo.

Speaking of photos, want to see some serious retouching? That is essentially what I’m learning to do in school. To fool everyone into thinking that the world is pretty and you are not. I have such a crazy profession. -_-
However, I do find it fun to make people beautiful. I like seeing people’s reactions. It’s like surgery. Kinda.

This cover of Outkast’s Hey Ya by Mat Weddle (Obadiah Parker) is by far the best original cover I’ve ever heard of any song. You can hear it on Obadiah Parker’s Myspace band page or you can download the cover here. If you look at my Last.fm stats, you’ll probably see that I just listened to this song over and over and over again…

Please. Stop. Now.
