Look at all these chandeliers, right?
I went to watch Wild Hogs with Esther last night. We didn’t get a chance to see it last week because we stupidly decided to go and watch Norbit instead, which totally turned out to be just about the worst movie ever made. HA! Anyway, it was very funny. I’m always cautious when it comes to Tim Allen movies because I know that it’ll be hard for me to get past the fact that he’s not Buzz Lightyear or Santa Clause. Anyway, I should have listened to Esther last week because Wild Hogs was quite enjoyable. Sure, the story was a bit silly and predictable, but I’m not one to brush away a good laugh and a good time. Afterwards, we hopped into Bridge To Terabithia which I was really excited to see because it was one of my more memorable childhood reads. The film wasn’t disappointing but some parts were weird (if not different than how I remember them in the book — but that could be because I haven’t picked up the book since grade school).
Yeah, I’d recommend both. :)
WHAT THE HELL?! OMG. The new Canon 1D Mark III sure can shoot fast!!

Wow, the final plans for the design of the New York Aquarium at Coney Island is stunning. I can’t think of a cooler looking building than this at the moment (at least not in the vicinity of NYC). Come to think of it, the New York Aquarium is one place I’ve never been in. Now I want to go.

As you can see, the aquarium is set to take up a large portion of what used to be Astroland amusement park. Well, at the moment, Astroland is still there, but that won’t be for very long…
I’m planning on visiting once it gets a bit warmer. I remember last year I took photos at Coney Island beach in the Winter and it was brutal!
Umm, wow! Super Paper Mario for the Wii looks really awesome. [via]
Mark my words: A Forrest Gump sequel is the worst idea ever. EVER. Who’s doing the thinking at these studios?
Becca told me the other day that there’s a Hawaiian restaurant near Seaport and I’ve been trying to look for it (she couldn’t remember the name or location exactly). It’s hard to look for something when you aren’t sure what you’re looking for. I basically only have the type of restaurant and the vicinity in the city it’s located in to begin with. But from that, I think I’ve finally narrowed it down to two places. It could either be Roy’s New York Restaurant or L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Roy’s looks like a restaurant restaurant where I’d have to wear suit and tie (I could be wrong) and L&L looks like I could go in there wearing a bathing suit if I wanted. What’s the deal?! Becca, if you find out the place, let me know. I want some Hawaii.
Hehe, Ketchupart.com is exactly what you think it might be.

HA! If you talk to me regularly and/or know who I like, you won’t be the least bit surprised to find that my recent Google Talk status message has been “you gotta get a chandelier” (ok, small joke. Nobody gets it. I know, I know…). WHATEVER. Chandeliers!!! CHANDELIERS! What’s better than a classy chandelier in your apartment? Well, how about a chandelier made of GUMMY BEARS?! Check out the detailed picture below!

WOW. YUM! So pretty I could eat it…and be the king of France or the king of England or something. You gotta get a chandelier! [via]
How about some Haribo gummy candies? YUM YUM YUM!!
Because I have nothing better to write about… YAR!
OMG! Too funny! Norbit is #98 in Rotten Tomatoe’s 100 worst reviewed movies ever.
I find it hard to believe that Number 23 is #87 on this list — that movie just came out! The #1 worst movie is so anti-climactic. The list is long, and the one-movie-per-page thing is so friggin annoying, I don’t even really know if it’s worth anybody’s time.
I’m currently reading Print magazine here at work. It’s a pretty mag with great inspirational art pieces and articles inside. The pages are all well-designed and the content is just interesting in and of itself. Not too expensive either for a design/art related publication.
