If you have a hard time believing that news these days is just another form of entertainment, then the WTFCNN blog will prove to you that it is exactly just that. It’s a showcase of screenshots of the CNN main page “latest news” section, which undoubtedly sometimes lists items that are clearly not really newsworthy at all. [via]
This reminds me a lot of their “BREAKING NEWS” headlines when “breaking news” happens that’s not actually breaking news at all.

At around 12:30PM today, an Airbus A380 will be landing at JFK Airport to entice potential buyers and amaze crowds. The Airbus A380 is currently the largest commercial jumbo jet in the air. Some even call it a “superjumbo” because it is that super-awesome (apparently).
Here are some more photos of the aircraft.

I’ve found a newfound love for SHOUTcast again. Wait, did that even make any sense?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, You Don’t Know Jack (YDKJ) episode #2 and episode #3. Whee!

Hurricane Speed Balls are two welded ball bearings that, when spun on a smooth surface, will continue to spin at incredible speeds when blown with air through a straw. Watch the video above. These things look so simple and fun! I really want a pair [of hurricane balls]. [via]

Sadly, tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of the War in Iraq. Although most of us know why we are there, a lot of us aren’t really quite sure why we really are there. Know what I mean? The Iraq War has been dubbed the “second Gulf War” by some. Others, including the mainstream media, have begun to call the huge mess a “civil war” in progress which is kind of scary. Nobody even quite sure knows how many people (collectively, not just soldiers) have died in this conflict.

Not to lessen the importance of this event at all, I just thought it’d be good to lighten the mood a bit and include this comedy sketch from Anarchie Bunker about why we are in Iraq. Or you can watch this flash cartoon about why we do need to go to Iraq.
OR if you really aren’t interested at all in any wars, then how about the end of the world??

Free iced coffee at Dunkin Donuts this coming Wednesday — ALL DAY! I highly recommend the hazelnut iced coffee. Yum yum yum! Time to celebrate the coming of Spring! :D

By the way, this offer still stands firm.
