Today is April 9th. I think something amazing is going to happen today.

April 9, 2007 @ 3:25 am

I had a really fun weekend. Lately, it seems like every single weekend is beating out the one previous to it in terms of fun, life-valuableness (believe it or not, that is a word), and just good old excitement. This is a good thing, since I like having fun, I like things to have value, and I like to keep things exciting. Haha. So in short, here’s what I did this weekend:

  • 300 @ IMAX with Esther and Jenny
  • Jean slept over
  • Whoonu and heart-attack until 4 in the morning
  • West Point
  • KARS, big rings, swords, helmets, formal, and friends
  • I saw Yul Kwon, who unbeknownst to me, was famous for winning Survivor
  • Stole cups from a diner
  • nearly froze to death upstate
  • slept at 5:30-6AM for about three days straight – bug eye’d
  • drank too much coffee

I think I’m going to start listing my weekends. It’s more fun for me to see it in that way. :) Read on, my readers!

The Wonder Bread Cookbook is the most wonderful and delicious book I’ve ever received for free. You’d be surprised at some of the things people have come up with.

New secrets this week!

Oh my gosh, the US is so fat!

Why in the world did they kill off Nurse Laverne Roberts in the latest episode of Scrubs?! There’s such a big void in the show now!

I couldn’t stop playing Jet Speed for a very long time. I have a feeling the same will apply to you as well.

If I had a kid, I would totally buy this airplane spoon so that my kid will actually think an airplane is flying into his/her mouth! How fun! [via]

Hollister’s website has yet another new batch of music to stream and listen to. They usually have some good stuff up on there.

Ahh, interesting: Rutgers University is using their newly designed logo! This new logo was announced way back in December, but I swear I haven’t seen it actually used until now. Maybe I’m blind. Maybe.

As bad as it is, I think this “F*ck Yoga” skateboard deck is quite nice. If you want to visit the store in person, you can since it’s local (of course, I am only talking to NYC folks).

You know, I didn’t eat one marshmallow Peep this Easter. How weird! I usually get my hands on at least one around this time of year. But for some odd reason, I haven’t been offered one nor have I seen them around for me to take. Could it be that all of the Peeps this year were on display as art? Who knows. I think I’ll try and go buy some tomorrow at the store. I’m suddenly craving one.

frosted-glass-frame.jpg
Neat! I think this frosted glass frame would be a great addition to our apartment. We used to have a white-board up on the wall at the old apartment to leave notes and messages, but we haven’t put one up in the new apartment yet. For $129, it’s a bit steep in price, but at least it doesn’t look ugly. [via]

HOLY CRAP! This is how big a life-sized blue whale would be if you were swimming right next to it! That eyeball is bigger than my fist!

So today is April 9th. I am supposed to hear something amazing today from school. I guess I’ll find out later in the day, at which point I’ll probably be so excited that I’ll write an entry just for it. Funny thing is, I already know the answer. I’m just waiting for an official word. Yay! :)

Hey, you can totally make the frosted glass frame yourself. Just take a large picture frame, remove the backing and there you have it! I agree with Becca and Jane. Although I think whales are cool, that site freaked me out.
