A couple of new ones here and there, why, hello they are everywhere
I like the writers over at Gizmodo. They write funny. For example, when they talk about the iPhone dating app (good illustration) or the load-thing. Somebody should give them all a prize over there for not just being informative, but for kicking stupid technology in the butt as well.
Here’s the video for the campaign for a better Facebook pic. Why does it look familiar, you ask? Well, that’s because it’s a spoof of the Dove true beauty ads that have been circulating.
These are great and funny ads for The World of Comedy Film Festival. If you’re numb in the brain, each ad is supposed to be a play on a form of popular joke. Get it? Get it? No? Oh my gosh, you are so dumb.
Heh, dpexpert only has one dislike about the new Canon SD1000 digital ELPH — it’s small size. Other than that, they say it’s an excellent camera that looks great in your hand too! I want one! I want one! Don’t worry, the price they quote on their page is the MSRP ($450), and it definitely does not sell at $450. You can also buy the camera from Buy.com if you want.
The Photography Blog has a more in-depth review if you care to read up on the SD1000.
Norman sent me this video a couple of days ago. And when I watched it, I kept thinking, “Man, this dude looks so familiar…”
It turns out I knew why! He lives in my building and I see him all the time! He always goes out running when I come back in from biking. I bumped into him in the elevator yesterday and it hit me: THIS WAS THE GUY IN THE VIDEO! THAT’S WHY HE LOOKED SO FAMILIAR!
I should probably get to know my neighbors a bit better, huh.
Anyway, the video is funny. Watch it.

I definitely need to get myself one of these chalkboard skateboard decks. This would be a great and fun little addition to my room. Price: $80.

A modern look on RenĂ© Magritte’s This Is Not A Pipe. That’s certainly right. This is not a pipe. It’s a Mario pipe! Yay! What a great shirt! I’d buy it. [via]

Everybody knows that bamboo is awesome. Everybody knows that bamboo is super strong and light. But not everybody builds a bamboo bike like Calfee Design! This bike is just as strong and durable as any other high-end bike you’ll find on the market.
As cool as this bike is though, it’s price is definitely not cool. It starts at $2695 and keeps rising as you add things to it. Yikes! Still though, I would love to own one of these and ride it.
Ok, I’m off to see Shooter and Blades of Glory with Esther! Peace!
