Kaboom, it’s the week-and!

Anybody visiting MSNBC in the past day or so would have probably noticed a slight change in the look of their website. That is because MSNBC recently unveiled a newer and friendlier logo. I really like the new logo compared to the old one. The lowercase letters are a nice change and definitely a factor in making the entire presence of MSNBC seem a bit nicer. From the looks of it, MSNBC is now a fuller spectrum of news, attempting to cover more than ever before. Again, I think they do a wonderful job of presenting the new design, especially with that colorful and flowing wave of blocks motif (just check out their beautiful TV commercial for it). They even got a bit playful and created a NewsBreaker game with those darn colored blocks. [via]
Here’s the crappy YouTube version of the TV spot that I mentioned earlier.
Hahaha, this is actually kinda true. Mac users sometimes really do have a hard time just sitting still and being quiet about their computers.
Until that online version of Photoshop hits the internet, Wiredness might be your best bet for simple image retouching, editing, and manipulation. Don’t ask me why it’s called Wiredness though. Odd name, if not a bad name.
Anyway, here are some more ways to edit your photos online.
OMG. AWESOME. HOW ELSE CAN I SAY IT?!
Haha, oh geez, this video is so funny! The dudes over at Blendtec, the same company that makes those crazy blenders in those Will It Blend episodes on YouTube, tried to return a blended camera to Best Buy.
Has anybody else noticed eBay’s recent change in appearance?

The crazy (but awesome) folks at Flickr have created a new game called Faceball, which they gladly show photos of on their blog.
The rules are simple. Contestants sit 10′ (3.048m) apart and throw a small blue FaceBall Rulesor pink beachball. If you hit on the face (no hair whuffs, no chest, no ear grazes) you get to throw again. If you miss, your opponent gets to throw. Winner is the one with the most hits in total. (In tournament play, there are five rounds and records are kept for the longest hitting streaks.)
Hmm, sounds abusive! But I don’t need to organize a game for this! I can just go ahead and do it for fun!
Maybe I don’t use Macs as much as I thought. I had no idea I could quickly resize the dock by dragging a line with my mouse! This is great! :)
IF YOU WANT TO SEE A BIG ELEPHANT WEINER, YOU MUST WATCH THIS VIDEO. “Well, there’s a famous colleague that got a black eye from penis banging, so…” [via]

By now, most of you probably know that I love cats (OMG, NOOO!! LINK DOWN! USE THIS ALTERNATIVE LINK INSTEAD!!!). So it’s fitting that I would in turn love the mug picture above. The Catffeinated Mug is $13.99 and features a “decatf” cat on one side and a “catffeinated” cat on the other. Perfect (or should I say, puuurrrrfect). I can’t believe I just wrote that… [via]
It’s Saturday. But I’ve been awake for a very long time. I get more satisfaction out of knowing that I stayed up and had fun rather than sleeping. :) But now I have class (yes, on Saturday). Life sure is grand. Grand like a grand piano, grand. That’s how grand life has been lately. :)
