It’s too hot to update. Seriously.
It’s been way too hot in my room to actually sit down and write a post. Ever since Saturday, my room has become a living sauna! I sweat just sitting here at my desk doing absolutely nothing! It’s so ridiculous. It’s only been 3 or so days of good, hot weather and already I’m complaining that it’s too hot. I just need a fan. I should bring over the one from the old apartment to cool this room down. Dang, it’s hot here.
Somebody at MTV finally came to their senses. The MTV website is no longer exclusively Flash-based, which made it incredibly slow and retarded before. The site is now more like any other music portal site (which is both good and bad, I guess). At least now you can link to things on different pages.
Also, check out the random MTV “HATS” (Header Art Treatments) that appear when you refresh the page. If you want to submit your own art, you can go to that MTV HATS site and download a template and begin your work. Fun. Just too much fun.
Haha, this is a great video from Tinx explaining what he thought of the circus at Madison Square Garden.

I’m not sure how many of you saw this, but NASA just released the first stereo 3D images of the Sun!
NASA’s Solar TErrestrial RElations Observatory (STEREO) satellites have provided the first three-dimensional images of the sun. For the first time, scientists will be able to see structures in the sun’s atmosphere in three dimensions. The new view will greatly aid scientists’ ability to understand solar physics and there by improve space weather forecasting.
There are a ton of hi-res photos and videos on the site to view, so feel free to browse and just stand in awe of the Sun. :)
This Slate article about what to do if confronted by a madman with a gun seems so absurd. Why would anybody even bother to write this? I mean, I guess it’s somewhat relevant given the circumstances of last week’s Virginia Tech shooting. But seriously, if you’re getting your life-saving tips from Slate…you need some re-examining…

There’s a new coffee shop in NYC called The Roasting Plant. It’s located at 81 Orchard St, NYC.
From New York magazine:
Roasting Plant, which opened last week on the Lower East Side, relies on new technology and Wonka-esque spectacle.
Think of it as bean-to-cup coffee brewed on demand: Green beans are roasted on-site, then piped through polycarbonate ceiling tubing into storage receptacles. To order, you first select among seven choices, and when your order is entered into the computer, the chosen beans are sent clattering through overhead pipes and into the custom-modified super-automated Egro espresso machine, where they’re ground and brewed.
HOW AWESOME IS THAT! I really want to go to this place just to get a cup of joe. It’s like being at a coffee factory without all the dangers of actually being in one! I can’t wait to visit and try their brew.
There’s something slightly amateur yet beautiful about these candy photos taken by Craig Kanarick.
It’s date nite with Marzipan and The Cheat!
Milan’s got it good. I like this one.
I doubt any of you get your news from Newsvine. But just know that it was re-launched recently and it now looks super awesome.
I had the weirdest conversation last night. Kinda reminded me of Winter 2005. :)
I’ll be at work today, so depending on how busy it is, maybe there will be an update.
