If you want clean fun go fly a kite

I’ve never seen anything more amazing than Billy’s Balls. Thanks Bran for this one.

So Flo and I were talking about how she has the same birthday as Garfield (but not the same year, of course) and I thought, “I guess that’s neat.” THEN she IMs me with this link to the Garfield character profiles and she goes on to tell me that I have the same birthday as Pooky, the teddybear in the Garfield comic strip! HOW WEIRD IS THAT?! That she and I both have matching birthdays to characters in the same comic strip!

By the way, this is my favorite Garfield comic. I’ve posted this before. Who cares! :)

Hmm! The Old Master Q website has the comic strips translated into English! Actually, the entire Old Master Q website is really smart and functional. You can search by Chinese title or English title and can even search by comic strip number (this is useful because the books and the individual strips in the books are all numbered). The website is just really nice. Yay! Finally I can fully understand the comics.
Also: the Old Master Q bio page is insightful. Interestingly enough, Old Master Q runs on Wordpress. :P

OH HEY! Remember the Calvin and Hobbes searchable database? Well, it turns out that AMU Reprints (the division of Universal Press Syndicate that handles reprints of older material) has a more precise and descriptive searchable database. The good thing is that it’s not limited to Calvin and Hobbes strips. You can search a list of other past comics as well. NICE!
I guess the only downside to searching through AMU Reprints is that the preview images have an ugly watermark on them, unlike the ones from the Calvin and Hobbes searchable database which have none.

Heh, this Simpsons take on American Idol is pretty funny. The part where Lisa claps in the air is just great! [via]

Nice picture, eh? Can you believe that’s the West Side Highway?

The Mii Editor (beta) isn’t nearly as fun as the actual Mii creator on the Nintendo Wii. But I guess if you must have a Mii head, you can create one with that.

This is totally awesome. David Choe paints the Facebook offices. [via]

I want to go North of 155th Street to see nature! :) I hear the parks there are really crazy nice. The downside is that I’d have to plan this trip out since it’s a bit farther than my usual park trips. I hear a Summer picnic calling…!
Come to think of it, the entire New York City Department of Parks & Recreation website is worth checking out.

The Summer Meter will “let you know when there will be the summer”. Umm, Engrish, maybe? Anyway, for all it’s worth, this Summer Meter site is actually funny because it’s so deceptively simple! All it does is count down the days (down to the milliseconds) until Summer. It even tells you how much of each season is left until Summer. The fast-moving bars are all a bit too mesmerizing to me. I can’t stop staring at them. MMmmmmmm!!!

I can’t believe I’m leaving for Florida tomorrow! Next week is going to be nuts because of 2 papers and a project due. This is how I know school is ending soon. :) I can’t wait! :D
