The teeny tiny post
Ok, this is the last update before I actually leave on a jet plane to Florida! I’ll be down there until Sunday, so no posts this weekend. I’ll be reachable through email though, so feel free to email me as much as you’d like.
Hmm, this is interesting. I didn’t know Flickr showed my archives by date like this. My tags look cool.
Man, Google Talk users have bad taste in music. Yuck. I mean, c’mon…Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne?!??!?!

Sometimes I wish the world actually looked like this. It looks so friendly and comfortable and colorful! Not to mention that it looks pretty too! Anyway, here’s a map from Two Tree Management, the top from 2002 and the bottom from 2007, detailing the drastic changes happening to the DUMBO section of Brooklyn. I love these types of illustrations because they instantly show you how an area has changed in a matter of 5 short years. DUMBO is one of my favorite neighborhoods in NYC and to see that it’s getting so big so quickly is both exciting and alarming. Seeing the entire neighborhood in this way is cool too because I have memories on just about every street in this area. It’s as if I was doing a virtual walking tour in my own head of my own experiences.

The real mouse mouse (not a typo there) is crazy. It’s a real mouse converted (is that even the right word to use) into a computer mouse. Kinda nasty, I guess. [via]
