
This is a photo I took of myself in front of the main RMIT building when I went to visit a month ago.
It seemed like this day would never come! But by golly, it certainly has!!
For those who may not know what the heck I’m talking about, here’s a newsflash: I, Herman Yung, will be studying at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia beginning July 2007 until March/April 2008. Yes, you read that correctly — one full year!
I’ve kept this on the down-low for quite some time now even though I knew way back in March that I was already approved by The New School to go study abroad. A big thanks to those of you who I did tell who kept it under wraps until now.
What I was really waiting on for the past two months was the official acceptance letter from RMIT indicating an open slot in their program. And yes, that finally happened today. Whee!
