No more Hearst; No more school!
I sorta feel like I haven’t updated in a while since the last post was saved from a couple days before Saturday. I just happened to post it on Saturday. Yeah, it really feels like a few days at least since I actually gathered anything new.

The good thing about going to an art school is that at the end of the year, people just discard barely used spray paint cans (like the one above) and I get to take them home. I’ve never owned a fluorescent one before. Time to do some damage.

On Friday, it was my last day of work at Good Housekeeping (at the Hearst Corporation). It was so bittersweet in that I knew I was moving onto something even crazier and better but at the same time I didn’t want to leave the team that I had grown to love in the past few months. They threw me this surprise party/meeting with lots of cake and pastries and they also gave me a Holga! Funny thing is though that I picked up the same Holga for my boss just a few days earlier and she told me it was for a photo shoot. TRICKY! Haha. But yeah, I’m gonna miss them all for sure.
YYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Good news: The Joost invites have been going out strong and steadily. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, leave a comment AT THIS LINK and one will be sent to you promptly. DO NOT LEAVE A COMMENT UNDER THIS ENTRY FOR A JOOST INVITE!
A “reliable source” inside NBC says that Scrubs may be renewed for a shorter 7th season! Whee!
YouTube is experimenting with video advertisements. What does this mean? Well, lots of things. One of them being that the “demo” video for such ads, Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance, has received over 26 MILLION views. Yeah…and counting…!
That’s absolutely insane. I guess it goes to show that lots of people really want to see video ads implemented correctly, so as to not destroy the YouTube viewing experience.
Apparently, these photos of jumbo jets flying really close to this beach are real. The airport is located in Philipsburg/St. Maarten.
This is really neat! On this website, you can make your own credit card and cash carrying wallet made of paper with your own personal photos.
New secrets here. Yay?

I picked up Rats: Observations on the History and Habitat of the City’s Most Unwanted Inhabitants yesterday and so far it’s really entertaining in the only way that reading a book about rats can be entertaining. But I mean that in the best way possible because the book really is fun to read. It’s amusing too what the author put himself through to observe these rats in New York City (no “sane” person would ever do such a thing…I hope). I haven’t finished the book yet, but I imagine I’ll do it soon because the book is quite captivating. A “page-turner” for sure. Haha. Buy the book and read reviews at Amazon.com.
Holy crap! Literally one more day until Oregon! That’s crazy! I want to milk a cow when I get there because I think that’s what people in Oregon do. Just kidding. But I really do want to milk a cow.
