Changes are happening!! YAR!

I’ve been extremely busy lately. Not work-busy. Just, life-and-fun-busy which is good because I’m totally loving NYC before I leave to Australia. It’s hard to believe that I’m leaving to another country in 2 weeks! WHERE DOES TIME GO?! But I’ve definitely been using my time by having get-togethers, Wii-nights, eating lots, and seeing lots of friends. It’s been awesome. I’ll do a life-update soon, but for now, here are some things I’ve been reading and keeping an eye on.

New re-designs: Flickr & Coldplay.
By the way, this is random, but somebody please tell Crumpler to make their site a bit more presentable and useful.

I think somebody stole me bluetooth headset. It was a good one. But probably not as good as the Samsung WEP410 which I might or might not buy depending on how click-happy my fingers are. I need a new one.

Here is Mute Math playing Typical on Live With Craig Ferguson on June 14, 2007. Yay! I wonder if they’ll ever go to Australia this coming year to play. I’d go see them again if I can.

Hahahaha. Thanks for sending me this crazy video of Bai Ling dancing, Joyce! :)

Brokers: MUST READ! Ahh, best of Craigslist is always entertaining. Thanks Joe (even though you probably don’t even know that I took this from you).

OooOohh!! Bloomingdale’s is [kinda] giving away advanced screening tickets to the Transformer’s movie if you buy $150 or more of French Connection men’s clothing. What’s stopping people from buying $150, getting the ticket, and then returning the items the next day???? I would totally take the effort to do that.

When I get my laptop in, maybe I’ll follow this tutorial to make a laptop sleeve out of a FedEx envelope. Or, I could just go get one from Gymspacific or Incase.

Mmm! Astroland may be open until Summer 2008. Maybe I will be able to go to my new favorite Brooklyn location again next year when I’m back in the States. Why does the NY Post headline say it’ll be open until 2009?

Simple Spark is a great tool to find the right web application you need. It’s like a directory of sorts and you can search by what type of application you need, whether it be for photos, Web OS, or messaging. Bookmark this one.

Just because I’m excited to get my laptop. Built-in roll-cage protection sounds cool I guess.

But do you really need 378,000 gallons of water to prove that a ThinkPad can be submerged to 60 cubic centimeters? Geez. Talk about a waste of resources.

I’ve been feverishly adding and removing different Facebook applcations to my account. There are so many that seem so interesting that I just have to test them out and see if they stand up to my attention test (most don’t). Anyway, I like to add and test out Facebook applications on my own time, so when I get sent “invitations” to add a certain application to my account, I get really annoyed because 1, I don’t like being told what to add; and 2, usually the applications are really stupid. Lately, the requests have gotten a bit out of hand especially when people just decide to invite THEIR WHOLE LIST OF FRIENDS TO ADD THE APPLICATION! Argghhh…I guess that’s what social networking is all about, but I do think there’s a more proper way to handle it than to just send it out to your entire friend list. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the Facebook applications, but I can sorta relate when users get annoyed at the requests that are sent to their accounts.

Driving alone doesn’t solve heat problems, pollution problems, or traffic problems. So stop doing it. Ride a bike. Walk. Carpool. Take mass transit. Teleport. Do something other than drive alone to where you are going.

Wow. Just…wow. No life + extreme skill = Taiwanese arcade basketball player.

Enjoy the rest of the day! I’ll update later on my trip on Tuesday to Coney Island. :)
