Into another town, not around
Whee! Colorful shirt!
It looks like I won’t have enough time to traverse the innards of the Freedom Tunnel by the time I leave for Australia. Every summer I tell myself that I’ll go there and explore and take photos, and every summer passes without me having done so. Some quick facts about the Freedom Tunnel on Wikipedia.
This photo of a seemingly plain NYC street reminds me a lot of the visuals I created in my head while reading Rats. I finished the book a week ago and I highly recommend it to anybody who’s interested not just in rats and vermin but to those wanting to know more about the history of New York City. While the book focuses mostly on one individual’s quest to figure out the life of New York City rats, you’ll be surprised as the reader to find out that the book actually dwells a lot into New York City’s past and how some streets (and people) got to fame on the back of rats. I think the book is incredibly interesting. If you want to borrow it, you can, just let me know.
This Japanese game show makes contestants run on a long and fast-moving treadmill towards 4 items that they must eat. If they do not eat all 4 things and reach the end of the treadmill in a given amount of time, they are thrown into a pool. Haha!
I have never seen a better looking flight booking website than Vayama. It’s not just a travel website, it’s a new way to search and book your international trips! I think the map visualization is my favorite thing about this site.

Frisbee! Boston has an ultimate team. I love Boston! :)
I think the Nike family of websites are really nice.
Rihanna’s new video for “Shut Up and Drive” sounds like it could be a Pink song. And when she says the line “shut up and drive” she does the same thing she does in her previous single “Umbrella” where she repeats the last syllable (in “Umbrella”, she says “Umbrella-a-a” and in “Shut Up and Drive” she says “So shut up and drive-ive-ive-ive”). That’s so lame. But who cares, the track is catchy and that’s what radio needs — a catchy tune.
My TiVo Gets Me looks great! Plus, you can watch all the good TV ads on the site.

I think this is a joke, but here’s a somewhat convincing fake of where the whole LOLcat internet meme came from. Hehe, I like these drawings.
