If you’ve always wanted to view photos online in full-screen, then PicLens is the Firefox extension/add-on you want to use.

After installing the PicLens extension, photos will display a faint grey-ish arrow at the bottom left corner. When you push that arrow, your desktop fades out and PicLens takes over showing your photos in awesome full-screen wonder. The interface is clean and nice and there’s virtually no learning curve to start using this extension. Plus, it’s entirely unobtrusive to your regular browsing habits so you won’t have to worry about it “being in the way”.

PicLens is currently supporting the following sites:

  • Flickr
  • Facebook
  • Google Images
  • Yahoo! Images
  • Friendster
  • Picasa Web Albums
  • Other RSS galleries

Install PicLens and give it a try and see your photos–and other’s photos–better!
