My internet connection is slow
Although I don’t really have a bandwidth cap on my connection here in Melbourne, I do detest the fact that in place of a download limit they have instead just made my internet slower than expected. It’s broadband, but it feels like broadband if broadband were made of little men pushing data packets through a wire. Wait, that’s how the internet works, right?
How am I supposed to watch YouTube videos and download hi-res images with that kind of speed?
Not as funny as funny or cool as LOLCats, but still, LOLMETAL is up there in its obsurdity.
Here’s why the snooze button is usually set to 9 minutes instead of a round 10 minutes or so.
If any of you are wondering, here is how I will be buying fare cards here in Melbourne for the city tram system.
And here’s the somewhat crazy (at least for now, to me) tram system. I will master this system very soon, hopefully. Any tips from Australian readers?
You know, even though the Wired.com front page looks like it is very cluttered, I actually find it quite pleasing to view from day to day. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my laptop runs on a crushing 1024×768 resolution only, but the Wired.com page fills my screen perfectly and it looks great when it does that.
I’ll update with some photos from Australia soon!
