T2 Tea

I was walking around yesterday and I stumbled upon a great little tea store here in Melbourne called T2.
T2 is tea made and packaged in Australia. It is uniquely Australian in its philosophy and setup — offer an atmosphere that’s easy, carefree, and friendly to tea lovers. The store is elegant and simple and it smells of delicious tea as soon as you walk in. That’s what I liked most about it (and what initially attracted me to the store).

Not only does T2 offer over over 150 different tea varieties to suit your mood and taste, it also offers its tea in fabulously packaged sets. In the store, you can choose to buy your tea in 100g colorful cubes, or 200g bags or tins. If you don’t know which tea to try, you can also get these large tin tea sampler sets that include 16 different smaller tins of tea inside for about $80 AUD.

The tea I ended up choosing was called “Red Green Vanilla”. It’s a type of rooibos tea that smells sweet and “vanilla-y”. It tastes wonderful! I can’t stop drinking it! I have a feel that I’ll be visiting the T2 store again sooner than I expected!
I drink tea in random spurts, most often when I find a great tea place around me. T2 is definitely going to get me back on my tea grind, especially since it’s so close and priced so generously.
