Your discount super duper center middle how are you?

I always figured there was a reason why along with external email access, RMIT was also blocking access to Meebo. It’s because Meebo is the fastest growing chat client! Man, the RMIT network really sucks. Actually, in general, Australian access to internet just sucks. Hahahaha…only one year…only one year…

Whee! Flickr has updated their slideshow settings.

Have you Facebook users noticed the new “add attachment” button in your Wall area? Apparently, you can now add videos or extended linkage with your wall post. For example, instead of just linking to a video, you can now embed the video in the actual wall post so that people can see the video straight from within the wall section. Neat, I guess, but crazy annoying when the wall section looks like YouTube.

Crap. Starbucks is raising the price of their drinks an additional 9 cents! Aren’t they expensive enough already?! Thanks Yelena for the heads up!

Here’s what happens when you get a bunch of really really good trampoline gymnasts to recreate traditional video effects. [via]

Oh my gosh! Imagine playing a video game or watching a movie while sitting in the Sonic Chair, a chair that looks like the cup of a headphone! You can get some great headphones here.

Mmmm, Qantas looks new. I may be flying them come Summer to go to Sydney or New Zealand.

I don’t know why it’s happening now, but I’m loving how the RSS feeds for my posts go live immediately after publishing the post. Previously, it took a few minutes for them to begin showing up on RSS readers. Oh, and I think all of my images (whether they be gifs or jpgs) should now be showing up.

Ever since watching the Transformers movie on Wednesday, I’ve sort of been a bit Transformers-crazy. I just went on Amazon.com looking for toys from the movie. Of course, I came across a pretty good Optimus Prime and this fun little Optimus Prime voice changer helmet-mask thing.

Then, I came across this: Transformers Movie Ultimate Bumblebee. It was the most expensive of all the toys and for good reason too! It’s so detailed and it looks like it’s made from better materials than the other toys listed through Amazon.com. It is currently on pre-order for about $89.99 at the Hasbro website (it gets released September 21). I mean, wow, look at that thing. I wonder if they’ll make other cast members from the movie like this too. That’d be pretty neat.

I promise some kind of Melbourne update soon. I have half of my pictures uploaded already…now all that is left to do is put some captions and commentary to it in a post. Problem is, RMIT is being a little baby and not letting me upload to Flickr (or Facebook even!!). WTF. What kind of University is this?! This is like the opposite of Parsons; great classes, great people, but sucky internet. Give me a break!!

Is there good free wifi anywhere in this city (other than the State Library)?

  1. I hope he does, I truly do. It really sucks being my age and realizing everything now, instead of when I should have, then. Thanks very much for the compliment and comment!
