Here’s something I’ve never seen in the US: McCafe’s from McDonald’s. Almost every McDonald’s here has a McCafe tucked away into the corner. Think of it as Starbucks. Except it’s McDonald’s brand.

The local electronics store here has the Logitech R-20 speakers for $49 (that’s basically retail price, sorta). Does anybody know if they’re worth buying as a small speaker set? I don’t need anything outrageous. I just want something that’s better than laptop speakers. Better yet, any other relatively cheap suggestions?

New York State has more than 2000 bridges, some of which are “structurally deficient”, the same term used to describe the I-35W. However, don’t be alarmed. This term does not necessarily mean that the bridges are near failure.

This is a pretty interesting map of pedestrian fatalities in NYC. It’s funny that despite my distance from NYC, I still manage to read and find information about NYC on a day to day basis. The city is never far from my heart. Haha, that sounded so gay.

Hahahahahaha! I love how the Firefox extension ScreenGrab! let’s me take screenshots of entire web pages. Here’s all the graffiti artwork I’ve done on Facebook. Quite a lengthy list of work if you ask me! These are my masterpieces!

NYC is trying to enforce a new anti-graffiti law that will somewhat make it a liability for some people to carry aerosol paint cans or “graffiti instruments” for the intended purpose of graffiti. It’s a smart move by government, I suppose, but how in the world do they intend on proving that you are carrying those things for the intended purpose of graffiti if they aren’t actually catching you in the act of vandalism? That’s where I’m worried that carrying these “graffiti items” will be troublesome for me.

Jake Brown successfully completed a 720 turn at the X Games on the Mega Ramp, only to fall 15 meters at the end of his run. It was a hard fall, hard enough to make his shoes fly right off his feet. Incredibly, he got up after a few minutes and walked away.
