Simon introduced me to these neat little action figures from Revoltech (from parent company Kaiyodo).

The selling point of these great action figures is that they utilize the unique “revolver joint” (hence the product line name). The revolver joint allows these action figures to have almost human-like maneuverability and stance. You can pose these action figures in very real — and sometimes amusing — ways. Basically, whatever your own body can do, these Revoltech action figures can mimic.

The great part is that for what it’s worth, I think these action figures are decently priced (from $10 to $40 USD depending on the model and availability). You can pick one up from Toy Globe or search on eBay for a slightly cheaper price.

I’m about to buy the EVA 01 (Revoltech #004) for modeling and photography purposes (my way of justifying the purchase).
