One of the downsides to the Facebook Video application is the inability to embed videos to an outside website. With all of the flash-based video sites popping up and taking over, it’s no wonder that one of the things people usually ask for most from these sites is the ability to share. Of course, with Facebook, it’s all about sharing — but only to those inside the Facebook network.
BUT NOT ANYMORE!

Once you’ve got the Greasemonkey extension installed in Firefox you can install the Facebook Video script and begin embedding those Facebook videos to your own site.
The Facebook Video script makes it easy for you to share a video by giving you the actual embed code, much like how YouTube might do it.
It’s a very useful hack for a much needed default feature within Facebook Video. I wonder why Facebook decided to leave it out. Privacy issues? Content control? Who knows! But I do know this: the Facebook Video Greasemonkey script is great!
Thanks Karena for showing me this tip!
I have been able to embed slideshows with “MY STUFF”. Adding it to you applications make them appear on the lower left site — at least in my layout.
I will also try the add-on to Firefox (THANKS!) since I am finding that Firefox is much versatile and faster than IE.
Thanks a lot!
