Avenue Bicycles (2007)

Danish-designed Avenue bicycles are said to be so well designed that they will draw stares from people on the street as you ride on by. Well, I haven’t seen one on the street, but I bet I’d take a look if I did see one come in to my view.

The bicycle company caters to the style-conscious rider with the Airbase (pictured above in green) in several different color variations (mostly two-toned). In a world of abundantly over-zealous and pimped-out bicycle designs, Avenue dares to keep you modest and close to the ground with its elegant and classic take on the traditional bicycle frame. Get one and you can soon be rolling in a Danish delight!
Honestly, I guess there’s really not much difference between this and some other well designed bikes out there, but for what it is, you can’t deny that this looks good. Shoot, I’d ride it!
As far as I can tell, Avenue only manufactures the Airbase line of bicycles for the year 2007. However, their 2006 collection of bicycles does include several other bicycle line names, including the Airbase, but no guarantees from here as to whether or not they actually still sell these.
Price? I have no idea. Anybody care to enlighten me?
