According to Office Tally, Dunder Mifflin has launched a website to promote the selling of their paper and paper-related products!
Dunder Mifflin Inc. (stock symbol DMI) is a micro-cap regional paper and office supply distributor with an emphasis on servicing small-business clients. With a corporate office in New York City, Dunder Mifflin has branches in Buffalo, Albany, Utica, Scranton, Akron, Camden, Nashua and Yonkers.
Dunder Mifflin Inc. provides its customers quality office and information technology products, furniture, printing values and the expertise required for making informed buying choices. We provide our products and services with a dedication to the highest degree of integrity and quality of customer satisfaction, developing long-term professional relationships with employees that develop pride, creating a stable working environment and company spirit.
Dunder Mifflin is the make-believe paper company in the Emmy-award winning hit US TV show The Office. The show is a mockumentary based on the lives of the various employees at Dunder Mifflin. Although Dunder Mifflin isn’t a real paper company, I just love how NBC is making it as “real” as possible by setting up a legitimate-looking website for the company.
Also, if you notice, the media page at the Dunder Mifflin website shows a press release about Ryan Howard (the temp) getting the job at Dunder Mifflin headquarters as the new “Vice President of Regional Sales at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, Inc”. It was a surprise ending on the last episode of season 3, no doubt leaving many fans of the show on the edge of their seats at least until the start of the fourth season which airs on NBC on September 27, 2007!
