I once went on this cruise to Mexico and on the cruise the folks who did housekeeping (whatever the term for it is) gave us new towels each day. And each day the towels were folded into these great little animals and placed carefully on our beds. Seeing them folded in such a way almost made me not want to use them, but alas, I had to or else I would never get dry!
So when I saw the book, The Lost Art of Towel Origami, I was ecstatic. The book includes 80 pages of step-by-step instructions, illustrations, and photos of various towel folding/origami! I always wanted to learn how to fold cute little shapes out of white towels. You know, so I can impress the people around me and have them love me for simply knowing how to fold little shapes out of white towels! Don’t tell me you’ve never thought about it!
The book is at Amazon.com for $10.17 at the moment, so if you’re so inclined like I am to learn how to fold cute little things out of white towels, then it’s in your best interest to pick up this book ASAP!!!
Here are some examples of towel animals from Disney Cruises! And oddly enough, there’s even a Wikipedia entry on towel animals.
