Rock the HeadHoods

I absolutely hate those hoodies with full-body prints on them that you can zip up to the very tip of the hood. It’s so retarded looking and totally not practical (HOW THE HECK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO WALK AROUND ONCE ZIPPED?). I know that some of them have eye-slits in them…but really, that just makes it even more stupid.

That’s why Brooklyn-based HeadHoods is such a refreshing idea. Basically, HeadHoods takes a standard American Apparel hoodie and hand-prints an iconic 3/4 head-turn onto the hood, making it look like you might be someone other than who you really are! Exciting!

When the hood is on your head, it sometimes really looks like somebody is looking back at you.

I especially think the King of Hearts and Queen of Hearts heads (from a deck of cards) is neat. Heck, I’d buy one for $60 USD!

When I get back to NYC in the summer, I’d love to work for this guy. Sounds like his studio would be a fun place to be.

You can read more about them here.
