For those of you just waking up to the morning light in New York City, you’ve got a full day of memorial commemorations ahead of you. The first of these official memorials starts at 7AM and do not end until approximately dawn on Wednesday.
Like every year since 2002, downtown Manhattan will be graced by two shining beams of light. These two beams, made up of 88 light fixtures, collectively make up the Tribute In Light memorial.
This year, the Tribute In Light turns on at dusk on Tuesday night and will stay on until dawn on Wednesday morning (New York City time). If for some reason you cannot see the beams of light, you can check out the Tribute In Light in 360-degree QTVR from 2006.
And of course, you can read about how Ground Zero has been changing and rebuilding.

that great to remember the deaths of the fallen americans of the 9/11 tragey.
