Anybody who has ever been in a cab may have noticed that each cab driver carries with them an assortment of items to decorate the inside and to make the cab “theirs”.
Like office workers, cabdrivers adorn their work spaces with items of personal meaning, there to gaze at and reflect upon as the day or night proceeds. One recent Sunday afternoon, as they waited for fares, drivers in a taxi line at La Guardia Airport spoke of the things they carry.
