Graffiti archaeology

Graffiti Archaeology is one of the coolest graffiti-related websites I’ve ever come across.
Basically, the site compiles images of different graffiti-filled locations and puts the photos in order by date, allowing the viewer to see the location change in appearance over time. You can click on any date with a photo and literally be brought back to that point in time.
It’s a great way to see how the wall might have started clean, got tagged up, then buffed, then filled up again. [via]
