Friday fix

September 14, 2007 @ 8:32 am

Ok, this is a short links post because I didn’t want to make a separate post for this annoucement. Sorry to those who have been trying to comment and such. The server has been reacting very slowly for some reason. It takes me a long time to just get a post ‘published’. Oddly enough however, the page loads are fast as ever. It’s just slow for submitting comments and writing posts. Everything else works fine. I’ll get on it when I get back from class.

Stereophonics – Maybe Tomorrow

Ah, nice! NBC will stream episodes of The Office after each airing starting with the new episodes from this season! Now I sort of don’t have to worry about missing episodes while being away from the States.

Here’s an Airbus A380 flying into Hong Kong. That thing is huge.

Using this particular search function, you can see this year’s Tribute In Light photos courtesy of Flickr users. Some of them are really fantastic.

PayPal loses its outlines.

Google Moon gets an update. It now includes little astronauts with links to where the different Apollo moon missions have landed and gone.

I think I posted this last year around this same time (but I can’t find it). Anyway, here’s amateur footage of some of the events on September 11.

Man, Winamp (is it WinAMP?) is 10 years old already?! That sure went by fast. I think up until about 2 years ago I used Winamp exclusively for my music. But since there isn’t native iPod sync, I stopped using it, despite how much I hate iTunes and its slow interface. But the “new” and next version of Winamp sure sounds like a mighty comeback. I can’t wait to test it.

Peace!
