The Zune interface is nice

There are a handful of things going for the Microsoft Zune that put it out on top of big competition from the Apple iPod. Things like FM radio, “horizontal mode”, wireless transmission and connectivity, physical shape and look…
But I think the biggest thing going for it is the user interface. I absolutely love the large thin type that serves as the menu. Not to mention also the wonderful and subtle backgrounds. And in general, I think the Zune menu is FAR more superior than the iPod menu system. It makes more sense, it gets you to where you want to go faster, and it has better looking transitions.
In fact, over the years, I’ve come to think of the iPod menu system as slow and clunky (and kinda ugly and boring in a plain sense).
Check out a UI demo of the new Zune interface below. Just amazing. I really want a new Zune!
- New Zune firmware installed
- Continuous song switching on the new Zune firmware
- Weird iPod error screens *UPDATED & SOLVED*
- Zune Journey (and free music)
- Fit an iPod in a Zune
