I swear, these Apple keyboards are the worst.
I know these aren’t the new ones, but seriously, how did anybody ever type on these incredibly bad devices in the past?
I want to throw it in a fire and watch it slowly melt. Or run it over with a truck — a thousand times. If I could, I’d replace it with a Lenovo/IBM laptop keyboard or any standard Dell keyboard. I CAN’T WORK LIKE THIS!

yeah. the remnant church office has one of these on the mac there. i usually use the crappier laptop in there over this computer because of the keyboard or i attach a cheapo PC USB keyboard.
ok. so what exactly are the problems with this keyboard?
You think the old Apple keyboards are bad? The new Apple aluminum keyboards cannot be taken apart! There are no screws! The keyboards are glued together!
The keys can be lifted-off, but if you have a problem other than replacing a broken key-top, you’d better hope your keyboard is still under warranty! At the time I wrote this post (08/11/09) people are claiming someone discovered the new Apple keyboards have a hack vulnerability – in the firmware! That crap is scary…
