According to IMDB and from what I can recall, the Transformers movie hit theaters at the end of June 2007.

Just 4 months since the box office release, Transformers is coming to DVD!

On October 16, 2007, you can all pick up the Transformers two-disc Special Edition DVD for $22.99! As you might expect, the Special Edition DVD includes lots of never-before-seen clips of the making of the film as well as director and producer tidbits.

Transformers was seriously one of the best movies I saw this summer (or winter, if you count my stay here in Australia). It was amazing! Seeing the cartoon characters turned into live-action CG characters was super! I can’t wait to pick up the DVD and watch all the Transformers transform in slow motion!!
