WANT: Sony MDR-V700DJ

For a while now, I’ve been lusting after these headphones. I know, lusting is bad! But you know what’s worse? MURDER! So at least I’m not murdering after these headphones.

Seriously though, I think the MDR-V700DJ headphones look really cool. And as far as I’m concerned, they are the “DJ’s choice” for head gear (because I see the majority of DJ’s having these and not anything else). Maybe it’s the relatively “cheap” price that factors into these Sony headphones being so ubiquitous in the DJ scene (especially when you consider that other DJ headphones that are only SLIGHTLY better can run your bank account dry).

Plus, these seem to be an exception to the rule that any DJ head gear must make you look completely retarded if you were to wear them on a regular basis. So because they look good even when you aren’t a DJ, it makes me like them even more.

And yes, I do think these silver-colored ones look better than the MDR-V500DJ headphones, which are black. But if it came down to it, I would take the black ones over these $700 Sony monstrosities!
