Unboxing my new db clay wallet

About a month ago, I jumped on a chance to buy the stampage brown db clay version 3 wallet from dbclay.com at a special price. Cindy’s Tommy Hilfiger wallet that I’ve been using for about 2 years now has deteriorated to a leathery mush with broken seams. It served me well, but it was time for something new.

I’m quite satisfied with this db clay wallet. The intricate pattern work is so mesmerizing. When I first opened it and took it out of the box, I just looked at the pattern for a minute or two. It’s nice. :)

What makes Tope eco friendly?

Tope is a synthetic fabric similar (in texture) to a vinyl canvas. However, Tope does not contain certain hazardous chemicals typically found in most vinyl-based products. In particular, Tope contains NO PVC, Tope is made from non-toxic raw materials (it causes no dioxin, heavy metal or phthalate pollution), Tope decomposes when buried, Tope is chlorine chemicals free and Tope is fabricated through a pollutant free process. Additionally, we have engineered a tremendously technical printing process whereby we print high resolution and full photographic images using environmentally friendly inks. To top it off, Tope is also vegan and animal free.

The tope material feels really slick. It’s got a slight matte shine to it. From the description above, it sounds like this db clay wallet should endure a fair amount of use. The only thing I’m worried about is the pattern design rubbing off after a while. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen and that it stays exactly like it is for a long time.
