Ok, forget about the “inspired by the sea” gimmick and the designer’s interpretation of the black-silver colour representing a dolphin swimming against a wave…

The M. Liminal is simply gorgeous. It is designed by NYT Line and made by Fazioli. The piano sits on a brushed-metal base encased in a natural wood, red, and black body. Portions of the piano are made with Plexiglas, like the cover stand and the music stand.

Who needs whack designer interpretations about sea waves and dolphins to fully enjoy this unique grand piano? Not me, that’s for sure. It’s always the case that when something looks good, it’s inspired by the most retarded things in nature. Yes, I know nature is the world’s best designer, but seriously, I would never have thought of waves and dolphins if I hadn’t read it on the product website. Would you?
